She pointed out that schools in other regions of the country and overseas prioritize ‘the well-being of students over their appearance,’ noting that wearing a tie and a button-up shirt still appears very formal.
Concluding her complaint, the parent stated: "It baffles me completely why you're so set on making their jumpers in these tight tank tops so hot. To my mind, this appears to be an excessive form of control without any sensible reason."
As a reply, the high school stated that their uniform policy is 'thoughtfully designed to promote a sense of unity, discipline, and professionalism amongst students.'
The findings from previous student and parent surveys indicated a preference for keeping the tank top.
Nevertheless, the reply recognized that the institution does not want "any student to feel uneasy during hotter periods" and places importance on "the well-being and comfort of students."

She went on to say that staff members are allowed to modify their work attire reasonably for both elegance and comfort, and she feels that students should be granted the same level of respect.
She commented, "It would be intriguing to find out how many moms and dads might prefer a summertime version of the proposed uniform adjustments."
In an interview with the Manchester Evening News, she stated: "They told the students that this rule is for neatness and ensuring that shirts stay tucked in, and the tank top is supposed to help with that. But it clearly isn’t working since every time I watch children leave the school, their shirts are still hanging out from under their tank tops."
In my view, this is merely brainwashing and is causing discomfort purely for the sake of appearances.
Andrea Din, the principal at Mossley Hollins, stated: "Student well-being is our top concern. We motivate our students to feel proud of their uniforms, and we get numerous favorable remarks from people in the area who appreciate seeing how presentable our students look."
