On Friday, Alannah posted a heartwarming picture featuring herself, her sisters, and her growing brother, all striking poses while their parents observed and remarked that it had been 'three years since we all gathered together.'

And what would a family gathering be without a photo of the six of them!? For this, their mother and father, Brenda and Gerry, were on the other side of the camera, standing with their four children for a picture.

The Beirnes appeared extremely happy, with Gerry gently placing his head on his daughter Jen's shoulder in the photo.

Alannah also posted adorable pictures of Caoimhe playfully pinching her brother's face, captioning it: 'That's how Tadhg was raised with three sisters.'

If it had been us along with our brothers and sisters, itpotentially could have ended in a disagreement, but they are all adults, and the Beirnes resolved it with a hug after all the squeezing.

The purpose of the Beirne family gathering was not solely due to Tadhg's presence in Australia, but rather because it was actually Jen's birthday.

Her parents and brothers and sisters united to give her a surprise with the most delicious cake we have ever witnessed. The dessert was decorated with plenty of pink and white frosting.

Although the design wasn't particularly complex, the piped icing gave it an amazingly appealing appearance, though you wouldn't want to spoil it by slicing into it!
